An awesome pin with a great design! Surprisingly thick for its size!
Not sure what it is about this pin I liked so much. But now I have it and it's pretty awesome. It is, in fact, a HEFTY pin, too. It's thick and has weight. Feels pretty solid. Not sure why... An artistic choice, perhaps? Could probably shave half the thickness to conserve material but that's the engineer in me talking. 😅
The shine to it is incredible, though! It can be a bit difficult to make out the details at certain angles with the colors being as close to one another as they are. There are different contours to the surface that are either REALLY shiny or go with more of a satin sheen or, on a lesser scale, spots of matte finish. The image becomes more clear from different angles of view. It kind of dithers out of view at other angles.
But... This quasi-lenticular effect somehow feels like part of it's charm. 🥰
