A retrofuturistic compendium device in enamel pin form. It's not representative of the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy --by any means-- (but we do have that). This device is made for the more anxious and fidgety types who still need to know: 1. where they're going and 2. how long it will take to get there (and I guess 3: what will be there waiting for them when they arrive). But really they'd be ok just twisting harmless knobs and flipping inert switches before making any hasty decisions.
This pin is *hand* finished to give that distressed feel that is naturally going to happen on voyages between star systems.
