Embedded with meteorite dust, this handcrafted relic can be either a one-part pendant (the bronze "Astrocore" with embedded meteorite dust and constellation/planetary orbit etching details) or as two pieces with the outer "Chrysalis". The bronze Astrocore can slide into the Chrysalis, where the necklace chain can be threaded through to link the two together as one. And when I say threaded, I mean patiently threaded --it's made to be a narrow fit so that there's not a lot of jostling and jingling. Just the right amount. : ) This is a heavy pendant. If you prefer lightweight jewelry, I recommend looking at other jewelry that I have. But if you want a true relic feel, this with the Chrysalis + Astrocore configuration is my highest recommendation.
