'Goodnight Moon' was my favorite childhood book and I'm very excited to have been able to write and illustrate a Martian parody --combining my love of space & astronomy, art, and science-fiction into a bedtime story for future astronauts, rockets scientists, and anyone who dreams of distant worlds. ; ) Your copy will be signed (totally optional!) with the added option of having you or your special someone's name included in the message I sign into the book. Complete with sci-fi 'easter eggs' hidden throughout the illustrations, and a STEM-based illustrated glossary, this parody of a beloved classic is a pleasure for earthlings and space lovers of all ages!

In the grey Hab dome
There was no telephone
Just a satellite link
And a 'message alert' light--
Going BLINK, BLINK, BLINK
On a planet far, far away, it's bedtime in the Martian habitat module (or 'Hab') for two young astronauts. With a view of the Martian dunes, solar cells, and rover out their window, and a healthy supply of nutrient slush and hydroponic plants, the two settle into their bunks for the night.
Goodnight little bot
And goodnight dust
Goodnight freeze-dried
nutrient slush
--And goodnight to the portrait
of Mr. Musk...
